PokerRoom Review
PokerRoom offers a great no-download version of their poker client and is therefore a great choice for Mac and Linux users. The graphics are nice looking and the games run smoothly without any major problems. The statistic functions are valuable and include an open database of the hands played at the site. All the standard games (Texas Hold’em, 7-Card Stud and Omaha) are available in this room, but Texas Hold’em is by far the most popular one. The games are generally rather soft and there are lots of 6-handed tables available. Most of the player traffic goes to the tournament section (private tournaments are available), but there are many good cash games as well.
